Throughout the past couple of weeks, we have highlighted some well-known women who have impacted the world through their words.
We’ve honed in on women, for one, because we’ve got a soft spot for powerhouse female leaders. But it’s also because women — particularly women of color — haven’t always had the freedom to express themselves freely. So when they give voice to the thoughts in their head, especially when those words stand in stark contrast to the status quo, it takes profound strength and bravery.
And the end result has changed the world.
We think that’s pretty freaking awesome. So we created an infographic to continue to highlight the impact these women have had with their words.
